Platinum is very pure containing 90% - 95% pure platinum where as 14kt gold only contains 58% pure gold. It's hypoallergenic and will never tarnish. Unlike gold, if platinum is scratched no metal is lost. You can simply have our jeweler buff out the scratches without wearing down the metal.
